Bethlehem, PA Betsy's smile is one that "stays" and that is probably how I will most remember her. She was (as was already mentioned several times) friendly, caring, and interested in life. I will miss my cousin. Dear children of Betsy, I pray that you will find comfort in God and in cach other - and that you will take the best and good and Godly things to heart and go on to build your own righteous legacy of friendship and caring. God bless you. With love, cousin Jeannette

formerly of Watkins Glen , NY I met Betsy many years ago through the friendship she shared with my sister Mary Ruth Sweet and her family. Betsy had a way of making you feel as though you had known her all your life. A rare and enthusiastic spirit, always full of energy and full of life. She was strong and determined and resourceful and perservering. I admired her for her courage. Though I seldom saw her in the last few years I often would inguire as to her well being and was happy to hear most recently that she was doing well. When I first heard of her sudden passing my world stood still for a moment just trying to process how impossibly difficult it must be to lose a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, so full of vibrant life, so suddenly. My sincere condolences to her family, from both myself and my daughter Tara Price. And especially to her children who must grieve their loss, but hopefuly find great strength in knowing that her energy and love will never leave them.

Palmer Alaska I met Betsy and her siblings in 1966 when my family moved to Dundee and attended the same church where the McKee family was actively involved. At age ten, Betsy was my first real friend and often invited me over on Sunday afternoons to her schoolhouse home turned into family farm. I remember exploring the forbidden, crowded, and stifling attic while we searched for a set of play clothes for me to wear for the day. Watching out for cow pies while running in the pasture, eating fresh raspberries, and riding in the noisy family VW van that inclined to backfire were other fun times. Betsy came to my house a few times in Dundee where we picked wild blackberries, played in the hay barn and apple orchard, and decided we no longer had crushes on our first loves. We went to Bible Memory Association Camp together. One verse we learned was John 14:6 which says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me." Another one we learned over and over was John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Betsy adored her older sisters Rita and Debbie and looked forward to them coming home to visit. I visited Betsy again at the old farm house when I went back to Watkins Glen for a few days in 1981 or in 1982. Please let Betsy's mom know that I fondly remember Betsy and all her siblings and the hours we spent playing in her home. I will remember all of the McKees and the Greenleafs in my prayers during this time of loss. May God comfort each of you.

Watkins Glen I am so very sorry for your loss. Liz was a classmate of mine and I always enjoyed bumping into her around town. I never saw her without a smile on her face. She will be missed.
