MILLER, Elwyn L.
Age 83, of Reading Center, NY, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, November 6, 2008. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, 2008 at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home; Rev. Jane Winters and Rev. Jeanne Bleiler will officiate. A private burial with military honors will be held at Seneca Union Cemetery.

Elwyn honorably served in the US Army in WWII. He retired from Cargill Salt Co. in Watkins Glen with 33 years of service and was a member of the Reading Community Church in Reading Center.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Joyce C. Miller; children, Stephen (Jolene) Miller, of Watkins Glen, David Miller of Penfield, and Janet Miller of Fairport; six grandchildren, Jesse Miller, Julie (John) Malysa, Hunter Miller, Brittany Miller, Rebecca Miller, and Natalie Miller; brother-in-law, Charles (Betty) Calhoun of Valois; and several nieces and nephews.
