M. Louise Riddle The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen on Tuesday from 3:00-4:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at the conclusion of visiting hours at 4:00pm; Rev. J. Keith Kissel will officiate. Burial and committal services will be held at Willow Glen Cemetery in Dryden, NY. Born July 4, 1920 in Newark, NJ to Oliver and Mildred Neigh; she graduated from Ithaca High School in 1939. She and her husband Leon Baringer owned “The Pie Shop” in Ithaca until his death in 1961. She was also predeceased by their son, William Fay Johnson; daughter, Darlene Baringer Sanders; step-son Terry Riddle; and her special brother, Richard Neigh. She is survived by her husband, James “Bud” Riddle of 22 years; five daughters, Sherran (Kimp) Horner, of Watkins Glen, Tanya (Bud) Earnest, of Calif.; Darcy Baringer, of Calif., Sheena Kaplin, of Wisc., and Nejla (Bill) Smith, of Wisc.; daughter-in-law, Kathy Riddle, of Trumansburg and North Carolina, step-son, Craig (Grace) Riddle, of Trumansburg; sister-in-law, Laurie Neigh; 12 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; a very special dog, Manny; and very special people from Hospicare and her loving and special caregivers, Lois Fields and Janette Ward. Her hobbies included football, especially the 49’s; playing cards, working with her flowers, and she loved to travel. She also loved spending time in the summer at the cottage. Louise lived in California for over 20 years and came back to Trumansburg to marry her high school sweet heart, Bud, in 1984.
