Paul B. Beebe
Age 81, of Odessa, NY, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2010 at Schuyler Hospital, Montour Falls, NY. Paul was predeceased by his wife Theresa; also siblings, Clyde, Joy, Neal and Nelson Beebe. He is survived by children, Paul (Winona) Beebe of Montour Falls, and Roxanne Edsall (Wayne Mosher) of Odessa; brother Guy (Ginger) Beebe of Montour Falls; sister Elsie Brewer of Dundee, and brother Merton (Gladys) Beebe of Alpine; sisters-in-law, Connie Beebe of Horseheads and Marion Beebe of Apalachin; 3 grandchildren, Jason (Emily) Edsall, Bryon and Amber Beebe; 3 great-grandchildren, Jacob Edsall, Matthew and Kayla White; and dear friends, Donna and Vern Meek of Savona.
Paul served in the United States Army during WWII. Mr. Beebe was retired as Schuyler County Highway Superintendant; a member of the Mechanics Club of Montour Falls, a lifetime member of the Elks, B.P.O.E. 1548 of Watkins Glen, and International Union of Operating Engineers.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, on Monday, January 18, from 12 noon-2:00pm; a funeral service will be held immediately following at 2:00pm; Rev. Beverly Karr-Lyon will officiate; followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery with military honors. Memorials in his memory may be made to Schuyler County Ambulance, PO Box 2, Watkins Glen, NY 14891.
