Mitchell K. Hilliard, Sr.

Age 45, of Watkins Glen, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Arnot-Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7pm at Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00pm; Rev. J. Keith Kissel will officiate.

He is survived a son, Mitchell K. Hilliard Jr.; and daughter, Sarah Sivers (fiancé Michael McPherson, Sr.), all of Elmira, wife Mary Hilliard, of Elmira; father, Kenneth B. Hilliard, of Valois; mother, Justine (David) Detar, of Florida; sister, Sharron Hilliard (Jim Teribury), of Watkins Glen; brother, Mark Hilliard, of Maine; step-grandmother, Lois Hilliard, of California; 3 grandchildren, Monica, Michael Jr. and Madison McPherson; special nephew and friend, Corey Teribury; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, BearBear.

The family wishes to thank Southern Tier Hospice, the medical staff at Arnot-Ogden Medical Center; and especially Pam (from ARI), for everyone’s compassionate care.
