Marilyn Prickman Bulin Age 72, of Watkins Glen, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully October 9, 2009 at St. James Hospital in Hornell NY. Mrs. Bulin was born in Rochester Minnesota on March 28, 1937 the daughter of the late Dr. Louis E. and Laura R. Prickman. She is survived by her husband George, 2 brothers, Jack Prickman of Rochester MN and Dr. William Rickman of Edina MN, son Charles Olson of Annapolis MD, daughter Wendy Criss of Watkins Glen, sons Dieter Bulin of South Lake Tahoe CA and Jonathan Bulin of Dallas TX and 3 grand children, Jessica Brogdon of Watkins Glen NY, and Andrew and Jenna Bulin of Dallas, TX. She was a former professional figure skater and skating coach achieving her gold medal in 1955 while residing in Rochester, MN. In 1970 she joined the professional figure skating staff of the Frank Ritter Memorial Ice Rink at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. Marilyn was an enthusiastic supporter of her granddaughter Jessica’s Watkins Glen HS sports teams and also enjoyed watching her compete in equestrian events. In keeping with Marilyn’s wishes there will be no calling hours, but friends wishing to memorialize Marilyn may send contributions to the Watkins Glen High School Sports Booster Club or the Falck Cancer Center of the Arnot Ogden Medical Center Foundation.
