Mary Chapman Bottcher
Age 93, of Watkins Glen, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 12, 2010.
Mary was born in Philadelphia, PA to William and Ella Wait. She grew up in New Orleans and attended Tulane University. Mary was predeceased by her first husband, Rupert “Pete” Chapman, her second husband Bill Bottcher, and her step-son Bob Bottcher. She is survived by her daughter MaryAnne Culligan (Bill) of Westfield, NY; sons John (Nancy) Chapman of Fort Myers, FL, and Robert (Barbara) Chapman of Watkins Glen; step-daughters Cathy (Duane) Wilcox of Pine City, NY, and Mary Bottcher of Ellensburg, WA; step-son Rick Bottcher of San Diego, CA; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Saturday, April 17, from 2-4pm; with a memorial service following at 4pm; Rev. Beverly Karr-Lyon will officiate.
